The involvement of both local and foreign agencies in the Ulu Segama-Malua (USM) Project is quite significant. These agencies help to finance both forestry and conservation activities undertaken in this area. Among others, Sime Darby, Landskap Malaysia, New Forests, WWF and ITOCHU are the major contributors to this project.
