Summary of Ground Surveillance Activity in 2016

Ground monitoring was done all year round by field staff. In Table 2, showing the average ground monitoring was done at the rate of 8.4 times per month. The highest number of inspection at 20 times was done in April. This was for the need to detect the occurrence of forest fire due to the drought season. The least numbers of inspection were done in March. The reason being all the relevant staffs were used to combat forest fire in southern part of Nuluhon Trusmadi.

Summary of Ground Surveillance Activity in 2015

Ground monitoring was conducted on average rate of 7.25 times per month in this year. The highest number of 13 times was conducted in December while the least were in October and November. The reason for this was the relevant staff were required to be posted elsewhere due to urgent need of the Forestry Department in Ulu Segama and Kalabakan.
